Your supervisor will arrange an plant operator to come through and prepare the block for your house pad. Most blocks have some plants, weeds, small shrubs, building material or lumps and bumps on it and that’s not a good base for your home. The plant operator will then dig out, level, add sand if required and compact the area where your slab is to be laid, ensuring the best canvas on which you build your home.

House and shed pads are an important foundation in preparation for the laying of the concrete slab. Our experienced operators provide residential cut and fill and form pads to level, including import fill or export of excess if required.
SOLID FOUNDATION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF ANY HOME PROJECT
We all know a solid foundation is the most important part of any home project. Without properly compacted soil or appropriate sloping and water runoff mitigation, natural settling or weather elements can ruin property and structures. Our experiences with the many different types of soils help us to ensure we are able to give you a sturdy base to build upon. Whether your needs are for precise grading for a building pad or excavating for a basement we are able to provide the equipment and skills to complete the work safely and efficiently.
Our plant operators are happy to do a pre-site evaluation of the home site to help you achieve your goals in the quickest, smartest and most affordable way.
Final grades on a construction site should involve a plan for runoff and drainage. Avoiding pooling and flooding issues is carefully looked at with each of our grading projects. We want to provide you with confidence that your property and landscaping will be able to disperse water and drainage correctly and in the right directions.
Most municipalities will also consider this a necessity and make sure the proper slope and grading has been complete before a new residence can pass its final inspection and receive a certificate of occupancy. You can trust Impact Earthworx and our teams experience when it comes to final grades and new home construction. We have been involved in community development and home construction since 2015.
Final grades may also be needed to maintain a properties integrity and appeal over time if erosion, weather and other debris have altered its character. No job is too small or too large for us to help you meet your project goal.
Before you start putting up anything, you should make sure that the land you will be building on is ready. Preparing your site for the construction of a house or other building can require careful excavation, dirt removal, laser levelling, and more.
